Two Decades of Experience...And Still Enjoying it! Jane Longley-Martins, is a New Englander, through and through. Born in Connecticut, she grew up in Lexington, Wellesley, and Cape Cod Massachusetts. After graduating from Babson College with a BSBA in Marketing, and working a year in Boston, Jane wanted to know if “California Girls” really have more fun. She moved to Northern California to find out and aside from a stint in Chicago, never left. Thirty-five years later, the decision is in… California Girls do have more fun. Jane and Dino, her husband of 30 years, live in San Mateo and have two adult children, Katie and Rob, both recent college graduates that live close by. As a family, we have had experience with childcare, the school system, summer camps, scouts, soccer, little league, tennis, college applications and job hunting. Jane’s experiences with these types of life’s challenges have been useful to help ease her client’s transitions, no matter where they fall on the spectrum. With 30 years of personal real estate investing and property management and more than 20 years of professional real estate sales experience, Jane is fully capable to assist you with any and all of your real estate needs. She is responsive and empathetic to the potential stress related to moving. The skills she brings to the table are experience, enthusiasm, tenacity, attention to detail and the ability to get the job done with a minimum of unexpected snafu’s. Her strong negotiation skills and resourceful problem solving abilities repeatedly get value-oriented results. Jane has resources for packing to painting, lenders to lawyers and loves to work on the house sale preparation process. She guides her clients/friends through the real estate process and helps them create their desired lifestyle through sound and wise real estate investments. Jane’s designations include Certified Real Estate Specialist (CRS), which would be most closely considered the masters degree of real estate. It is a designation based on both education and productivity and awarded to only about 4% of the nation’s Realtors; the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), which represents successful completion of an extensive real estate education; and Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), which denotes experience and expertise in the needs of our increasing aging population. Jane is a member of the National Association of Realtors; the California Association of Realtors; and the San Mateo Board of Realtors.
